Retronaut Jukebox is back. Here is our fifteenth installment!!
As you know, it features cool songs from the past and the present.
This month we feature Hericane Alice, Mindmaze, Grand Funk Railroad, Broken Baby, The Kings, Rozie Baker and more!!
For our latest feature, we feature the tremendous Them Evils, so read along to learn more about them and hear their tune, “Coattails”.

I’ll be honest and say that this is a bit overdue, because I have heard “Where Ya Gonna Crash Tonight” in the past and I remember really enjoying but I never got back to hearing more of the Them Evils catalog due to my glitchy Spotify account and my busy schedule.
However, things have changed. I was going through a bunch of my Spotify playlists for my weekly series, “12 Songs You Need To Hear”, and I noticed that “Coattails” was on there and I never got around to listening to it, but I had a sudden impulse to finally listen.
When I first heard “Coattails”, I loved what I heard, and I subsequently listed to the entire Them Evils catalog and I realized what a great band these guys are.
As I listen to the lyrics in this tune, the lyrical content is really interesting because it makes me think about how we can’t allow our success to be based off of other people. Surely, we can be inspired by others, but anything we create should be our own, as we all have our own perspectives and we should embrace that instead of fighting it.
Success is a complicated thing because we all want it, but it’s easy to be caught up in the “perks” of success like money, when we should instead realize that we are already successful because we are doing what we want to do, not what others tell us to.
Them Evils have a sound and a message that is truly their own, and they’re here to stay.
