Retronaut Selects: Saigon Kick - The Lizard (1992)
image

I was introduced to “The Lizard” by my dad, after he mentioned getting into it from a friend who ran a CD store.

He always spoke very highly of it, and I actually remember listening to it a long time ago, and I remembered it being a slow moving album, but when I relistened to it, it was completely different than I remembered it being.

“The Lizard” is a fascinating album because of how diverse it is. Most people would shy away from an album like this because it is different, but this is the reason why you should check this out.

Saigon Kick took a chance making a diverse album like The Lizard, and as a result, they made one of the most, if not the most interesting album of the 1990s.

Essential Tracks: God Of 42nd Street, Peppermint Tribe, Chanel
