Retronaut Jukebox is back for it’s tenth month!
As you know, it features cool songs from the past and the present.
This month we feature Teaze, Princesss, Billy Squier, ZIG MENTALITY, Gruppo Sportivo, Zero 9:36, Detective and more!!
For our latest feature, we feature the marvelous Ready the Prince, so read along to learn more about them and hear their tune, “Paralysis”.

There’s something I vividly recall from the first time I listened to Ready the Prince.
I remember listening to “Paralysis” and I couldn’t process it. There was so much going on that I had to listen to it a second time to take it in.
After giving it a second listen, I went from being unable to process what I was hearing to being truly blown away by what I was hearing.
What I love about “Paralysis” is the structure. The layout of this song is fascinating and it’s the perfect companion to the lyrics.
One of my favorite parts of this song comes at the end, when the lyrics, “Now I’m gone, now I’m gone, now I’m” and “I’m slipping and falling” come up, and it sounds how the downward spiral feels.
You can literally feel what the protagonist is going through, and I think that that’s amazing.
It’s not easy to capture that because very few songs have lyrics and music that complement each other perfectly.
“Paralysis” pulls it off, effortlessly.
