PREMIERE: Kyle Duke & The Brown Bag Boys - Sheena Doesn’t Mind (Music Video)

Here at Generation Clash, we’ve got something awesome to share. We are honored to premiere Kyle Duke’s brand new music video for “Sheena Doesn’t Mind”, the latest single from his homegrown psych-grunge outfit Kyle Duke and the Brown Bag Boys!

Produced by Brickhead, a music video production company co-founded Nick Freeman and Bre Kelly, the video is the result of a joint crowdfunding campaign between Duke and director Emmi Shockley, an NYU film school alum with whom Duke has collaborated on a number of other Brown Bag Boys music videos since the band’s conception in 2015.

Starring Beth Million as the titular character, the video for “Sheena” comes about 14 months after the initial release of the single in March 2019. Originally staged as the lead single off a new Brown Bag Boys self-produced album, Amphibian, “Sheena Doesn’t Mind” kicked off a run of US tour dates and radio/tv appearances in the Spring of 2019 that were ultimately cut short by the swift rise of another one of Duke’s projects, the alternative rock group BRKN Love, which would go on to spend the majority of the next year on the road across North America playing festivals, major radio events, and countless club dates.

Now, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic’s disastrous effect on the global touring industry, Duke has spent the forced time off the road with BRKN Love refocused on his solo work, including releasing the long-awaited video for “Sheena,” planning the release of the remainder of Amphibian, and working on another batch of brand new songs out of Carriage House Studios in Stamford, CT, a recording facility that has housed the likes of Pantera, The Pixies, and Paul Simon among others, where he has been locked in for nearly 2 months and counting through the quarantine.
