Believe it or not, Retronaut Jukebox is back for its eighth month!
As all you know, this is a monthly that features cool tunes from both the past and present.
I believe that older and newer music should be showcased together, because it shows us how many great artists have been around in so many different time periods.
This month we feature Artful Dodger, The Jacks, Kik Tracee, Pool Cosby, Tim Moore, The Black Keys, and more!!
For our latest feature, we feature the excellent Louis and the Shakes, so read along to learn more about them and hear their tune, “Snake Hips”.
I was contacted via email one day and recommended to listen to this tune called “Snake Hips”.
I was blown away because this band goes off.
Louis and the Shakes are fantastic because they have this wild and controlled vibe in their music, and it has an amazing energy.
They have a bit of a vintage sound, but are very modern too. There’s just something here that you don’t hear everyday and we need more bands to embrace what is bygone, and breathe new life into it.
Here’s to all the bands that are carving their paths, instead of just following in everyone else’s footsteps.
