Retronaut Jukebox is back for it’s fourth month!

This month we feature N.E.R.D., The Phantoms, Eli “Paperboy” Reed, Faster Pussycat, Thin Lizzy, Platinum Blonde, and more!!

For our latest feature, we feature the remarkable group, The Jacks, so read along to learn more about them and hear their tune, “Understand”.

I first found out about The Jacks from Banded’s awesome monthly playlist, “ROCK MY SOUL”, which has monthly installments of amazing rock bands, and some of the coolest songs you’ll ever hear.

Let me just say that The Jacks are excellent. They caught my attention because they embrace bygone musical elements and modern musical elements. They have this rock sound, and they embrace the vibe of jam bands and you can hear that their music comes from the heart.

All of their songs are excellent and their first EP really shows how many different style songs they can pull off. It’s a debut that truly showcases how much potential this band has and proves that they are one of the bands that the world deserves to hear.

Their songs have all these rock elements, and these melodic elements and it keeps the listener interested because it’s not mindless rock music. It’s well developed rock music that has all kinds of cool sounds surrounding every lyric.

I think that they’re a very genuine group and it’s truly good music. I believe that you can never deny good music. Something good is something good, and nothing can change that.

So, if there’s a takeaway here, embrace what you love, learn from it and apply it.
