If you thought I ran out of cool tunes to recommend…you’re sadly mistaken.
Retronaut Jukebox is back for it’s third month!
This month we feature Gin Wigmore, Mother May I, Public Access T.V., Junkyard, Waterparks, Love/Hate and more!!
For our latest feature, we feature the brilliant Brasko, so read along to learn more about him and hear his tune, “Get Me High”.
Let me start by saying that Brasko caught me by surprise because I didn’t think that I was going to become obsessed with his work, but one day, I finally decided to give it a listen and let me tell you that it is awesome!!
I may sound like a broken record, but this is a perfect example of taking a chance and expanding your horizons, because there is so much great stuff out there and all of it deserves a chance.
I give Brasko an endless amount of credit, because he’s so unapologetically himself and the kids today need to take an example from this because a lot of kids are just going with the crowd, instead of trying to stand out from the crowd.
Brasko’s music has an equal amount of effortless ambience and awesome sounds. It’s awesome to have music that works when you’re hanging out and even when you’re studying. So few artists can actually pull that off.
I can’t even count on two hands how many times I’ve listened to “SEXDREAMSUPERSTAR” since it came out. It’s the most interesting album of the year because it’s different, and it gets into your head, and it doesn’t leave…and I mean that in the best way possible.
So, if there’s a takeaway from all this, know that it’s cool to stand out. Be different and make a difference while doing so.
