I first found out about Rough Cutt during my second cassette phase in 2017.

I always have these little crazes over cassettes because there’s something so cool about just hearing one side of an album, and then the other.

You can’t really skip around like you can with CDs, and this results in really listening to an album in full instead of in parts.

I got into Rough Cutt, when I was first listening to Axe, Bow Wow Wow, and Lizzy Borden on tape.

They are one of the coolest bands from that era, and their albums are impossible to find these days.

I got lucky since my dad had both on vinyl since they were released, and I got to hear both albums after I borrowed them from him!

There’s something about a band like Rough Cutt. They’re this amazing combination of awesome rock music and a really cool edge, and a lot of those bands blended in, but Rough Cutt is one that stands out.

It’s not mindless hair metal, there’s well written parts and words that mean something, and those kind of albums are rare.

So, if you’re in the mood for a truly awesome metal album, and a truly fantastic band, listen to Rough Cutt.
