Retronaut Selects: The Rubinoos - Back To The Drawing Board (1979)

I found out about The Rubinoos through hunting for used vinyl, but I didn’t really check them out until I started listening to my friend, Chris’ radio show , “A.M. Transistor.

Two of his song choices from this album were “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and “Drivin’ Music”.

I’ve always seen this album beat up, the few times I have seen it in record stores. Towards the end of last year, I finally found a good copy of it online and it’s a promo too!

After I got it, I finally gave this album a full listen and I knew. It’s a gem.

The only reason to go back to the drawing board is so I can write down the next time I’m gonna listen to “Back To The Drawing Board”.
